Abigail Spencer

Abigail Leigh Spencer (born August 4th, 1981) is an American actor. Her roles in films Cowboys & Aliens and The Haunting in Connecticut 2 Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great & Powerful as well as on the TV show Angela's Eyes Mad Men Hawthorne, and Suits are among her most well-known work. Her current role is Amantha Holden on The Sundance Channel drama series Rectify. Abigail Leigh Spencer works as an actor in film and television. Her roles in both the drama show Rectify as well as the sci-fi series Timeless made her a star. A native of Gulf Breeze Her first role was with soap opera All My Children. She won a Soap Opera Digest Award for the Best Female Newcomer. In the following years she was mostly a guest on characters on a variety of TV shows. For instance, in the TV show Hawthorne, she was praised for playing the role of Dr. Erin Jameson. Her beautiful appearance and powerful acting abilities helped her to build a loyal fan base. In the movie Campfire Stones, she played a part when she was just 20 years old. The actress has also been featured in Jekyll This Means War, Chasing Mavericks as well as other films. As part of Beautiful Now, she was nominated for the Madrid International Film Festival Award. On the television show Timeless, she played her role as Lucy Preston, a history professor. Spencer is receiving positive feedback from critics about her performance in the sci-fi TV show Timeless. Spencer was also nominated for a Teen Choice Award.
